My name is Meghan, and I'm a photographer specializing in boudoir photography. I am driven and passionate. Personal connections with people are my biggest driving force. I have a wonderful husband who is my biggest supporter. I am honest, silly, and love to laugh. I love popcorn, and ice cream. And one of my favorite feelings in the world is creating stunning portraiture for people...

I'm so glad you stopped by my site, and are interested in boudoir.  I think when it comes to boudoir photography, WHO you chose is the most important decision you will make.  That's why I think it's so important for you to get to know me, who I am, and to make sure that I am the right boudoir photographer for you.

I love capturing people in their very human moments. Images that really resonate with me are those which capture the essence of a person, a relationship, or just raw emotion. I search to photograph moments in which people reveal who they really are. This drive affects everything I do.

Boudoir is such a wonderful honor for me, because I get the chance to interact with my clients in a very private and intimate way. I know you might be nervous. It’s ok, almost everyone is. I am good at making you comfortable, and I have created a process so that you feel as prepared as possible before your session.  I'm so excited to be on this journey with you!

about

When we look at ourselves in the mirror, we don't see the best possible versions of ourselves. We see our reflection in bad light, standing weird, from a terrible angle; think about it!! I know when I'm standing in the mirror tweezing my brows it is not attractive. This becomes the image we have in our mind when we think about ourselves naked. My job, is to show off the best version of you. I'm not making you more beautiful, I'm just showing you in the best light (figuratively and literally).

I believe in the power of boudoir, seen it change lives, and that is one of the main reasons I love doing it so much. That seems dramatic, but I'm totally serious. It's amazing to watch women see the best versions of themselves, sometimes for the first time. If you’re worried, read a few testimonials to see how other womxn have felt. Call me and we'll chat about life, love, and everything in between. Don't be afraid to embrace who you are...and don't worry because I'll be here every step of the way.

Why

I love boudoir

My coffee order: Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew or Hot Caramel Macchiato (depending on the season).

My toxic trait is never saying no to a coffee date, so sometimes that means more coffee than I actually need!

Coffee

I photograph great love because I have experienced great love.  Ben and I met in high school and fell in love hard and fast.  He is my support system, my partner in life, and my very best friend.

Marriage

I have been a performer most of my life and am overjoyed I have had the opportunity to make this into a career.  I am a professional company member with KC Circus Co. and often work with other local entertainment companies.

What I love...

The Studio Space

The studio where your session will be located is on the 5th floor of The Oliver Building in the historic West Bottoms of Kansas City. The building, originally housing a tractor manufacturer, has had a glorious amount of history in it's walls. With 2,000 sq ft, The Studio Space has enough room for whatever you're dreaming. It has a white wall on one side, original brick on the other, and four huge windows in between to light up the whole space.  Once you walk in the door you are immediately welcomed into the perfect space to feel pampered. There's a changing room, hair & make-up area, and small drink station.  The design of the space maximizes the feeling of privacy; it feels like you're all alone while getting to see the KC skyline out the window.  Simplicity was the goal in the aesthetic design, to showcase YOU!
